Selecting and Previewing Widgets:
To select and preview widgets before adding them to the home screen, follow these steps in iOS 14:
Long-press on any empty space on your home screen until the apps start jiggling, and the icons show an "X" on the top left corner.
Tap the "+" icon on the top left corner of the screen. This will open the widget gallery.
Scroll through the widget options or use the search bar at the top to find a specific widget.
Tap on a widget to see the available sizes and configurations. You can swipe left or right to view the different sizes or options.
